Cooking Steps

Core, then grate apples. Peel, then finely chop shallot.

Heat a small pot over medium-high heat. When hot, add 1 tbsp oil, then shallots and apples. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, until soft and fragrant, 2-3 min. When soft, stir in mustard, vinegar, raisins, sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium-low to simmer until thickened slightly, 10-15 min.
