100 g
Bacon Strips
680 g
Brussels Sprouts
2 tbsp
Unsalted Butter
(Contains Milk)
¼ tsp
Salt and Pepper*
1 tsp
Oil*
Cut bacon crosswise into 1/4-inch strips. Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. When hot, add 1 tsp oil, then bacon. Cook, stirring occasionally, until crispy, 5-7 min.** Remove the pan from heat. Using a slotted spoon, transfer bacon to a paper towel-lined plate. Set aside. Reserve bacon fat in the pan.
While bacon cooks, halve Brussels sprouts (or quarter if they are large).
Return the pan with reserved bacon fat (from step 1) to medium-high. Add Brussels sprouts and 2 tbsp butter to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring often, until Brussels sprouts caramelize, 12-15 min.
Transfer Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl, then top with bacon. Cover to keep warm.
