Cooking Steps

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high.
To the boiling water, add fusilli. Cook for 10-12 min, until tender but still firm to the bite.
Strain fusilli, then return to the pot, off heat.

  • Meanwhile, peel then dice onion into 1/4-inch pieces.
    Peel, then halve carrot lengthwise. Cut into 1/2-inch moons.
    Cut celery into 1/2-inch moons.

  • Heat a large pot over medium-high. Add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) butter, then onions, carrots and celery.
  • Cook for 3-4 min, stirring occasionally, until slightly tender.
  • Add Zesty Garlic Blend, then cook for 1 min, until fragrant.

  • Add chicken stock powder, 2 cups (4 cups water) and chicken. Bring to simmer over medium-high.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer chicken for 10 -12 min, or until chicken is cooked through.**
  • When chicken is done, use tongs to transfer to a large plate or a clean surface. Using two forks, shred chicken into bite-sized pieces.

  • Too the pot with broth, add chicken and fusilli. 
  • Season with salt and pepper.
