Instructions

Prep dough

  • Core, then finely chop jalapeño, removing seeds for less heat. (TIP: We suggest using gloves when prepping jalapeños!).
  • Whisk together mayo, cream cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, cheese, baking powder, 3 tbsp water, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tbsp sugar in a large bowl.
  • Stir in flour until just combined.
  • Using your hands, press dough together into a loose ball.
  • Flatten dough and press into a 1-inch-thick disc.
Bake biscuits

  • Cut biscuit disc into 8 equal-sized wedges.
  • Transfer biscuits to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush 2 tbsp milk over tops of biscuits.
  • Bake in the middle of the oven until puffed up and golden, 10-12 min.
Finish and serve

Divide biscuits between plates. Halve and brush with butter, if desired.
