Cooking Steps

1
  • Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
  • Cut green onion whites into 1-inch pieces.
  • Thinly slice remaining green onion.
2
  • Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  • When hot, add green beans and 1/4 cup (1/2 cup) water. Cook for 4-5 min, stirring occasionally, until water evaporates.
  • Add 1/2 tbsp (1 tbsp) oil and carrots. Cook for 1-2 min, stirring often, until carrots are tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Transfer to a plate, then cover to keep warm.
3
  • To the same pan, add 1/2 tbsp (1 tbsp) oil then pork. Cook for 4-5 min, breaking up pork into smaller pieces, until no pink remains.**
  • Carefully drain and discard excess fat.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add Moo Shu Spice Blend and green onion whites. Cook for 1-2 min, stirring often, until fragrant and onions are tender-crisp.
4
  • Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together remaining sesame oil, hoisin sauce, peanut butter, hoisin and 1/4 cup (1/2 cup) warm water.
  • Season with pepper.
  • Set aside.
5
  • Add chow mein noodles to the boiling water. Cook, uncovered, for 1-2 min, until tender.
  • Drain noodles, then rinse under warm water.
  • Return noodles to the same pot.
  • Using a pair of scissors, make a few cuts in the pot to cut up noodles.
  • Add sauce to noodles, then toss to combine.
  • Take pot off heat.
  • Stir in pork mixture and veggies.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then toss to combine.
6
  • Divide peanutty pork noodles between bowls.
  • Drizzle over chili-garlic sauce, if desired.
  • Sprinkle over remaining green onions.
