Instructions

  • Peel, then cut onion into 1/4-inch slices.
  • Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
  • Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, Gravy Spice Blend and 1/4 cup water (dbl for 4 ppl) in a small bowl.
  • Set aside.

  • Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.
  • Sprinkle over Moo Shu Spice Blend, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Toss to combine.
  • Set aside.

  • Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  • When hot, add 1 tbsp oil (dbl for 4 ppl), then broccoli, 1/4 cup water (dbl for 4 ppl) and garlic puree.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp and water has evaporated, 3-4 min.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer to a medium bowl, then cover to keep warm.

  • Add 1/2 tbsp oil to the same pan, then onions.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, 2-3 min.
  • Add shrimp.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp just turn pink, 2-3 min.**
  • Add soy-oyster sauce and broccoli to the pan.
  • Cook, stirring often, until sauce thickens slightly, 3-4 min.
  • Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Remove from heat.

  • Add chow mein noodles to the boiling water. Cook uncovered until tender, 1-2 min.
  • Drain noodles, then rinse under warm water.
  • Return noodles to the same pot, off heat. Add 2 tsp oil (dbl for 4 ppl), then gently toss to coat.
  • Set aside.

  • Divide chow mien noodles between bowls.
  • Top with shrimp broccoli.
